Steven Paul Jobs the 55 year old American co-founder and CEO of Apple More complex than I originally thought (January 21 2011)

Steven Paul Jobs the 55 year old American co-founder and CEO of Apple, and board member of The Walt Disney Company, renowned for designing, developing, and marketing one of the first commercially successful lines of personal computers in the early 1980s and among the first to see the commercial potential of the mouse-driven graphical user interface, announced that he had been granted a medical leave of absence, stating his decision was made “so he could focus on his health”. Jobs had only returned to work a year and half earlier after having undergone a liver transplant, announcing his leave in a letter to employees. Tim Cook will run day-to-day operations of Apple as he did during the previous leave, while Jobs will continue to be involved in major company strategic.
