Britney Campbell the 8 year old beauty pageant contestant who was removed from the custody of her mother Kerry Campbell by Child Protection Services in San Francisco after revealing on network television that her mother provided frequent Botox injections to three locations on her face, has become the centre of medical and media frenzy. Campbell’s mother now claims that botox was never injected, and the incident was purely a stunt financed by the UK newspaper The Sun who provided the story along with scripts to follow during the recorded interview. During the interview Britney Campbell stated that while the injections on her face hurt, she was now use to the pain, and that she didn’t think wrinkles are nice on little girls. The Sun refutes Kerry Campbell’s claim and is considering legal action against her.
